Forge Mill Needle Museum and Bordesley Abbey Visitor Centre in Redditch is set in attractive countryside and is the only water driven scouring mill existing in the world. The museum illustrates the heritage of the needle and fishing tackle industries using models and recreated scenes. Close by the Needle Museum, are the ruins of Bordesley Abbey - a medieval Cistercian Abbey - and the Abbey Visitor Centre, which is set in an original reconstructed 16th century barn. Details of the opening hours, activities for the year and general information can be found on their web site.
